Angela Lansbury surprised the audience of the 25th Anniversary screening of 'Beauty and the Beast' by making an on-stage appearance and performing the title song from the movie.

The 90-year-old actress voiced the part of Mrs Potts in the 1991 Disney movie and lended her vocals to the soundtrack as well.

Singing the title song from the movie, Lansbury booked her place in children's hearts everywhere and 'Beauty and the Beast' went on to win an Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Original Song as well as many more awards.

A new live-action movie, based on the original cartoon is due out next year with Mrs Potts being played by Emma Thompson.

Angela Lansbury will always be Mrs Potts to us.
