Leonardo DiCaprio, Shailene Woodley and Dakota Fanning were among the stars drawing in crowds to the Toronto International Film Festival’s red carpet.
The starry festival kicked off the weekend in style by welcoming some of the movie world’s famous faces to premieres of upcoming films Before The Flood, American Pastoral and Snowden.
This year’s programme has not disappointed so far, with appearances from each of the films’ big names as they launched their projects.
Oscar winner Leonardo was touting Before The Flood, a climate change documentary which this time sees him behind the camera as executive producer.
Shailene hit the red carpet for Snowden, a film based on real-life events about NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, and was joined by co-stars Zachary Quinto, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Melissa Leo, as well as director Oliver Stone.
Meanwhile, stars of American Pastoral were out in force to promote the 60s-set drama about a family falling apart over differing political views.
Dakota Fanning, who features in the film, was joined on the red carpet by Ewan McGregor, who plays her dad, Jennifer Connelly and Uzo Aduba, who looked almost unrecognisably glamorous compared to her Orange Is The New Black alter ego, Crazy Eyes.
The Toronto International Film Festival continues until September 18.
