Eamonn Holmes has revealed his dissatisfaction at losing out to actor Jamie Dornan in a popularity vote from the Belfast public.
He feigned anger at losing out to the Fifty Shades Of Grey actor in a public vote to have a bus named after a famous Belfast person.
Jamie appeared on ITV’s This Morning as a guest to promote his new movie Anthropoid and will also be seen returning to television screens soon in The Fall.
But Eamonn had transport on his mind when he said: “It was whittled down between me and him! That was the opposition. Who you do think the great Belfast public voted to name the bus after?… It wasnât me!”
Jamie replied: “Itâs probably the most stoned bus in Belfast now, I imagine, seeing my mug on the back-end of it!â
A laughing Eamonn quipped back: “I donât look like the back end of a bus so thatâs probably why it didnât go to me!”
