Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales is the fifth entry in the massively successful series. We weren't really expecting this franchise to return, especially after the rather lukewarm response to the last entry, but where there's money to be made there's a will.
Johnny Depp is back, naturally, and he's got a new enemy in the form of Captain Salazar. He's played by Javier Bardem and you can get a glimpse of how he looks in this teaser trailer.
It's pretty exceptionally creepy stuff, which is something the series has always done pretty well. Salazar is out to kill all pirates and Jack Sparrow can't be having that because he values his own skin too much.
Oddly enough Orlando Bloom is back this time despite having nasty stuff done to him at the end of the third film, though we're pleased to see Geoffrey Rush is back in the mix. The film is being directed by Norweigan guys Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg who have only done a couple of small films so far, including Kon Tiki.
Due to a number of production problems and delays, the budget for this is said to have balooned past 300 million dollars, but Disney will be hoping for another blockbuster. Let's hope Depp stil has the Sparrow stuff.
