Aunt Babe will be left for dead in a vicious revenge attack in EastEnders as one of her many enemies finally snaps.
A shocked Whitney Dean and Linda Carter are set to stumble on an unconscious Babe and immediately rush her to hospital.
But who has perpetrated the brutal beating and will Aunt Babe survive the attack?
Babe, played by Annette Badland, has earned herself a repuation as one of the most hated residents of Albert Square, from blackmailing Les and Pam Coker over his cross-dressing secret to forcing Abi Branning to fake a pregnancy and then miscarriage with Ben Mitchell.
She has recently come up against Abi again when she sacked her when her affair with Lee Carter – and passing on of chlamydia to Whitney – was exposed.
But with Claudette Hubbard finding out about her ugly blackmail of Les and Pam, there are lots of potential suspects who’d like to see the back of Babe.
The scenes will air in the week beginning August 15.
