X Factor judge Louis Walsh returned to his motherland Ireland for the latest round of weird and wonderful auditions.

The pressure was well and truly on Louis who was adamant he and fellow judges – Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger – would discover a star in Dublin.

Admittedly, the prospect wasn’t looking too promising until Janet Grogan stepped in front of the foursome.

Oh crap… X factor in Dublin is extremely embarrassing so far. #XFactor 😧

So far I don't think the X factor will be coming back to Dublin any time soon oohhhhh the shame 😂 #XFactor

It wasn’t the first time 28-year-old Janet had tried her luck at the X Factor – she’d previously appeared on the show back in 2014 but was sent home by Simon at the Six Chair Challenge.

Fans were full of praise for the lifeguard and just could not understand how Simon had let the gem that is Janet slip through his fingers.

He did make a mistake I remember her hope she goes to the live show this time ❤️ #XFactor

Janet performed a perfect rendition of fellow X Factor star Zayn Malik’s Pillow Talk earning her a unanimous four yeses.

“I was always praying you’d come back into the audition room. Your voice is stunning. You’re the best we’ve had today,” Simon said.
