Anything could happen. We\u2019ve still not opened the film. It could get hacked tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p><figure><img src=\"http:\/\/toptrendingnews.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/1473483834-c8a2d5e5f068f235c78eac577fcd0e28-600x383.jpg\"\/><figcaption>Oliver Stone at the premiere of Snowden (Chris Pizzello\/Invision\/AP)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe lived on our nerves. We stayed off the grid completely. We really tried to do everything in person, on paper, and encrypted as much we could. We encrypted all long distance communications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Oliver, 69, said Snowden had brought to the world\u2019s attention \u201cnot only eavesdropping\u2026 cyber warfare and drone attacks too\u201d.<\/p>\n<p> But he said it was up to the audience to decide if they wanted to brand Snowden a hero or a traitor.<\/p>\n<p><figure><img src=\"http:\/\/toptrendingnews.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/1433322420-76dfffc2c44a5e395166f90a4cf5569a-600x400.jpg\"\/><figcaption>Edward Snowden (Christopher Lane\/AP)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p> \u201cI think the movie is done realistically and factually and it allows you to decide,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p> The film-maker also revealed that making Snowden had a \u201cchilling effect\u201d on his own use of social media and the internet.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cEven if we don\u2019t admit it, it\u2019s subconscious,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"474\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QlSAiI3xMh4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThey can watch anything. It\u2019s a scary world and I didn\u2019t want to live like this and I don\u2019t.
