Christopher Biggins\u2019 removal from the Celebrity Big Brother house for \u201cunacceptable language\u201d sparked 86 complaints to Ofcom.<\/p>\n

Viewers raised concerns about Biggins\u2019 removal from the competition given the behaviour of other housemates but the watchdog will not investigate because it was not aired on television.<\/p>\n

Some 213 complaints were made about the Channel 5 reality show over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Biggins was removed from the house following three warnings from Big Brother for his remarks on bisexuality and for a comment about gas chambers made to X Factor reject Katie Waissel, who is Jewish.<\/p>\n

One complaint was made that Biggins\u2019 latter comment was not aired, and Ofcom is not able to consider complaints about material which is not broadcast.<\/p>\n

Biggins\u2019 comments about bisexuality prompted four complaints to the regulator.<\/p>\n

Some 21 complaints were lodged about the violent behaviour of Ex On The Beach star Stephen Bear, and a further 24 were made accusing him of bullying other housemates over a number of episodes.<\/p>\n

Biggins\u2019 comment was directed at Jewish housemate Katie Waissel (Channel 5)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n

General bullying on the show prompted 18 complaints, while 22 people accused Marnie Simpson and Lewis Bloor of bullying Heavy D.<\/p>\n

Footage of Aubrey O\u2019Day spitting in Bear\u2019s mouth sparked 14 complaints.<\/p>\n

A spokesman for Ofcom said: \u201cWe have received 213 complaints about Celebrity Big Brother over the weekend. We will assess these complaints before deciding whether to investigate or not.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
