Every defender who’s ever been nutmegged has secretly wanted to leave the player responsible in a bloody mess on the floor.
Well, that’s exactly what happened to Neymar when he copped a flailing elbow in the face as he tried to put the ball through Yasmani Duk’s legs during Brazil’s 5-0 win over Colombia.
We’re not suggesting Duk did it on purpose, but, well, at least he didn’t get nutmegged.
For Brazil, it was the only black mark on an otherwise pretty perfect night. Goals from Neymar, Philippe Coutinho, Filipe Luis, Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino gave Tite his third straight win since replacing Dunga as coach.
Sadly for Neymar though, people are probably gonna remember this more than his goal.
