Who would you rather face on the football pitch: 30 eight-year-olds, or eight 30-year-olds?

Well, Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane weren’t afforded the luxury of that decision, lining up against 30 eight-year-olds in LA Galaxy’s self-proclaimed Ridiculous Soccer Challenge.

And ridiculous it very much was.

Gerrard and Keane were made to work for it, having been pegged back twice by the kids, but it was the former Republic of Ireland skipper who sparked wild celebrations with a fine run and finish to make it 3-2.

We can’t wait for the return fixture.
