It has been said that footballers don’t get the credit they deserve for all the hard work they put in on the training ground, but having watched these videos, we’re all out of sympathy.

Major League Soccer arranged for a few of their players to take part in some real-life Fifa 17 skills games, and the result was two of the coolest looking videos of the year.

First up were Sacha Kljestan and Steve Birnbaum. We’re so jealous.

The camera angles are so on point, especially when it comes to penalties.

The tyre game looks like a bit of a drag to reset each time though, don’t you think? Next up were Jack McBean and Jordan Hamilton.

And the light-up goals are a nice touch on the circle pass drill.

All in all it makes us pretty excited for Fifa 17, and while we’d love to be able to take part in those real-life drills, replacing the penalty targets each time is going to make a serious dent in the bank balance.

We’ll stick with the video game.
