Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia Winkleman said she screamed with excitement when she discovered the identity of one of this year’s contestants.
Claudia and co-host Tess Daly revealed they know all the celebrities taking part when the dancing competition returns in September, but the public will have to wait for the famous faces to be revealed one-by-one – Â although the first is imminent.
Claudia said: “There’s something for everyone: there’s young, there’s old, there’s small, there’s tall, there’s cuddly, there’s abrasive.
“Actually there’s no abrasive ones, I miss the abrasive ones.”
Tess added, “There’s cute, there’s gorgeous,” while Claudia interestingly promised, ”There’s hot, there’s edible.”
She said: “There is one name that made me scream.”
Rumoured contestants so far include model Daisy Lowe, pop star Will Young, TV presenter Angellica Bell, singer Louise Redknapp and even former MP Ed Balls.
Strictly Come Dancing will return on BBC One next month.
