Music’s brightest stars of the year have turned out on the red carpet for the Mercury Prize.

The Mercury Music Prize ceremony takes place tonight at the Apollo in Hammersmith, London, and the nominees scrubbed themselves up for their prestigious night out.

The 1975 have been nominated for I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It and were in high spirits.
