Olly Murs and Rebecca Ferguson will perform on the Strictly Come Dancing launch show.
The two singers, who found fame on reality TV show The X Factor, will kick off the series in style when it begins on September 3.
As well as two of Simon Cowell’s proteges, the BBC show will also feature The Xtra Factor presenter Melvin Odoom as one of its contestants.
He joins previously announced contestants singer Anastacia, BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty, ex-shadow chancellor Ed Balls, former Hollyoaks actor Danny Mac, former Eternal member Louise Redknapp, singer Will Young, TV presenter Laura Whitmore, model Daisy Lowe and sports broadcaster Ore Oduba.
The celebrities will find out their professional partners on the show and take to the dance floor for the first time in an eye-catching group performance.
Five more celebrities remain to be named as contestants.
