Mary Berry has given her seal of approval to the new Bake Off.
The baking queen has decided to stay at the BBC, alongside hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, while Paul Hollywood is moving with the show to Channel 4.
Now she’s told The Sun how she thinks Bake Off will do on the rival channel.
âItâs going to be different but Iâm sure Paul will carry it on successfully,â Mary said at the National Reality TV Awards.
âIâm sure itâll be very successful with Paul.”
Mary did not reveal what new shows she might be cooking up on the BBC, but added: âMel and Sue are brilliant and we had a marvellous time on the programme and thatâs how it will remain.”
Mary is thought be in discussions with the BBC about a rival baking competition.
University support worker Rav Bansal became the sixth contestant to exit the series this week.
