Last year’s Strictly Come Dancing champion Jay McGuiness was forced to pull out of his appearance on Loose Women on Tuesday due to a personal loss.
The former The Wanted star had been scheduled to appear on the ITV daytime show, but his absence was revealed early in the broadcast.
Loose Women panellist Nadia Sawalha told the audience: “We have to tell you that the lovely Jay McGuiness was going to be on the show with us today but due to a family bereavement he is unable to be here.
“Jay we send you lots of love and are looking forward to seeing you here very soon.”
Jay has not revealed any more details, and a representative for the singer has been contacted.
Fans of the 26-year-old were quick to take to Twitter to share their condolences for him during his difficult time.
