How does he make it look so easy? This was the question on everyone’s lips as we watched Jason Smyth sprint his way to gold in the 100m, showing yet again why he’s the fastest Paralympian in the world.

The sprinter, who has 10% vision due to Stargardt’s disease, nabbed first place with an impressive time of 10.64. This won Ireland its first gold of the Paralympics.

Boom! He's done it again. Congrats to @smyth_jason winning his 5th #Paralympics Gold. #COYBIG pic.twitter.com/fpjrWPNtmP

This is the 29-year-old’s fifth Paralympic gold medal, having won gold for the 100m and 200m at both London and Beijing. Not only this, but he also broke world records at both previous Paralympics. Phew – certainly not achievements to be sneezed at.
