James Jordan is never one to hold back when it comes to his views on Strictly Come Dancing.

Even though the professional dancer left the BBC show a while back, his Twitter commentary during each week’s episode is as much a part of the Strictly experience as spray tans and sequins.

James in his Strictly days with former show partner Denise Van Outen (BBC)

He was back on form for the latest show, alongside wife Ola who is also airing her views now that she is no longer a contracted dancer with the series, and when James steps up to his keyboard the Strictly celebs should be feeling like Craig Revel Horwood is a kind old uncle in comparison.

James has a way of saying what we’re all thinking.

Wish I could fast forward all these VT's 😡
I wanna see them in the training room, not acting

He was as confused as all of us as to the link between dance training and Ore Oduba visiting the fire brigade.

What can I do to help my dancing?
I know!!!! Go to the London fire brigade 😂😂😂
Great idea

He doesn’t draw the line at his former colleagues, either.

Anton talking about Craig's shirt when he's wearing those trousers
😂😂😂

But James is a great fan of Anton, and thought a lot of his routine with Lesley Joseph.

Lesley
I bloody love them
Great routine Anton…. and he danced that cha cha well
Total entertainment, what Strictly is all about

Mr and Mrs Jordan are the unofficial guide to Strictly (Matt Crossick/PA)

Much as we all loved Tameka Empson, James was onto a favourite theme of his – producers signing up celebrities who are already dance trained.

Tamika
Absolutely brilliant…… loved it
But that's the difference when someone is totally dance trained
I loved her energy though

— James Jordan (@The_JamesJordan) October 1, 2016

In fact, it cropped up a few times tonight.

What a shame the producers THINK we the public want to see trained dancers
Nope, we wanna be entertained

He was brutally honest when it came to Anastacia, who’d been injured in training this week.

Anastasia
A lot of show but not much go 🙈
Really not great at all….. was the injury 2 broken legs???
Same as last week for me…BAD!

— James Jordan (@The_JamesJordan) October 1, 2016

It was an ouch moment for Naga Munchetty, too.

Naga
On a positive, she should definitely keep her hair like that
She looks beautiful 😍
Shame she had to move 🙈

— James Jordan (@The_JamesJordan) October 1, 2016

Naga
She was stiff as a plank of wood, messed up steps technically terrible
But…. looked totally gorgeous #strictly4

Like the rest of the viewing public, James was a big fan of Ed Balls.

I LOVE ED BALLS!!!!!

— James Jordan (@The_JamesJordan) October 1, 2016

That is EXACTLY what Strictly USED to be about!!!
LOVED IT!!!
Technically not great…. awkward at times bad use of arms but brilliant

— James Jordan (@The_JamesJordan) October 1, 2016

And James finds it all a bit of a slog in the first couple of weeks when there are just so many dancers.

Wow….. how many more are there Tweeps?
Can we get rid of 4 week 1

— James Jordan (@The_JamesJordan) October 1, 2016

But one celeb who can breathe a sigh of relief when it comes to James Jordan and his acid tongue is Dannny Mac…

Danny
Left hand should be at eye level in frame, a bit skippy and didn't drive plus too much of show dance
But he's bloody brilliant!!!

— James Jordan (@The_JamesJordan) October 1, 2016

…for now.

Danny
He is by far the best DANCER in the show
But is he too good???#strictly8
