Taylor Swift is getting some stick on Twitter, where fans are joking that her rumoured split from Tom Hiddleston means she will be releasing a new album soon.

The couple’s summer romance is reported to have ended after three months that were filled with dinners with the parents, smooches on beaches and declarations of love (on Tom’s t-shirt no less). All in the glare of the spotlight of course.

But as Tay is known for mining her love life for material for her music, many fans are suggesting that the break-up just signals a new record.
