Lindsay Lohan has failed to convince a court that the makers of Grand Theft Auto included her image in a video game.
A New York state appeals court has dismissed a lawsuit by the actress that says they used a likeness of her in some of the game’s scenes.
A panel of judges ruled that Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. didn’t use her actual “name, portrait or picture” and therefore didn’t violate her right to privacy.
Lindsay accused the producers of copying her physical features and imitating her voice in Grand Theft Auto V. The court says the depictions were protected as a “work of fiction and satire.”
Similar claims against Take-Two by Mob Wives television star Karen Gravano were also dismissed.
Lindsay’s lawyer has not commented. Karen’s lawyer says they are exploring their options.
