The usual routine is that by Saturday morning, managers must have made their transfers, selected captains and benched the appropriate players to maximise their chances.

But with the re-introduction of Friday Night Football last season, the modern fantasy football manager needs to be aware of the banana skin that is the Friday evening deadline.
