Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency is a book written by the rightly brilliant Douglas Adams and released in 1987. And it's really weird.
Naturally that means they're giving a TV show version a go, with BBC America starting the eight episode first season on the 23rd of October.
Here's how it looks.
Right so. The good news is that if you can't get access to BBC America then you'll be able to stream the entire first season on Netflix in December 2016.
That's another win for Netflix's more out there content and the hope is to do more seasons in the future. Honestly the trailer doesn't fill us with confidence but hopefully the finished product will have a little more to offer up than quirk.
