Ministers from all 28 EU member states, including Belgium, this week pledged their support for CETA, the comprehensive economic and trade agreement with Canada. But the regional parliament of Wallonia, the Francophone region of Belgium, rejected the deal. This is jeopardizing ratification of the deal by the entire bloc and will be high on the agenda at an EU leaders’ summit this Friday. Marthe Van Der Wolf in Brussels spoke with farmers in Wallonia about the deal.
