TV show Pointless has paid tribute to a contestant who died of cancer before her episode was screened.
Lucy Booth, 38, had been upset to discover her appearance on Pointless had been rescheduled, for Pointless Celebrity specials.
But, according to the Daily Mirror, TV bosses sent her the episode and she was able to watch it with her mum Jackie, who appeared with her in the show, in a hospice a fortnight before she died.
And when the episode, featuring Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman, did air, a tribute to Lucy’s memory flashed up after the credits.
Lucy, who worked as a production manager making TV commercials, died in August.
Family friend Sue Winter told the Daily Mirror: “Endemol Productions came through, they were brilliant, and Lucy and Jackie watched it together two weeks before she passed away.”
