In the past 50 years the Las Vegas’ Consumer Electronics Show has served as a launching pad for many now ubiquitous technologies, such as the Walkman, the home video recording system known as VHS and compact disks. Judging by their notable proliferation since last year’s show, home 3-D printers are ready to change many people’s lives. VOA’s George Putic reports from Las Vegas.
