Nicklas Bendtner has joined Nottingham Forest on a two-year deal, and came across as humble in his first press conference with his new club.

For a man who has played for both Arsenal and Juventus, along with scoring 29 goals at international level, Bendtner has endured a rocky career and comes with a history of controversy, but seemed keen to move forward.

With a fresh new haircut, the 28-year-old already looked sharper than in previous years, and could face his former club, Arsenal, in the League Cup later on in September.

The Gunners tweeted their support to Nicklas in cheeky fashion, and will be hoping the man who scored a Champions League hat-trick for them, doesn’t rediscover that form just yet.

Good luck at @NFFC, [Lord] @bendtnerb52 – apart from on September 20 of course pic.twitter.com/qEVQ7sO7ZY
